Check the font license page before purchasing and downloading the font.
Am I able to use this font for a logo and/or commercial project?
- Web fonts or file types in WOFF and WOFF2 are uploaded to your website. You are able to type content with these font files and they are also scalable.
- Static images, most likely in file types jpg or png format, are graphics that have been created in Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Canva. Most likely, this is how a logo is displayed on a website.
- It's a good measure to make sure you have the correct license agreement for your font usage.
What’s the difference between web font and static font use?
Yes–for larger corporate, broadcast, media, or any other uses you may need a license that covers the scope of the work involved.
