Created in collaboration with the incredible Sevd Atas from Studio Sevd, Mürdüm is a tall, commanding sans serif that makes an immediate impact.
The name Mürdüm (pronounced “mur-doom”) comes from the Turkish word for a deep plum color — rich, velvety, and impossible to ignore. Just like this typeface.
Born from flipping through a Paris Hilton magazine feature (yes, really!), I noticed something missing in the typography world — a condensed sans serif that maintains that feminine edge while still commanding attention. It’s that perfect blend of bold confidence with a touch of elegance that’s surprisingly hard to find.
With two distinctive weights — light and regular — Mürdüm transforms from elegant minimalism to bold statement-making with a single click. The contrast gives you ultimate versatility for any project that demands attention while keeping that feminine flair intact.
